How do I use layouts for new pages?
Layouts allow you to define a reusable page structure for commonly used page types. This helps maintain consistency across funnels and makes creating new pages faster.
Using an existing layout
- Click New Page
- In the Layout dropdown, select a layout (for example: Landing Page, Checkout Page, Documentation Page)
- The editor will load with the layout structure already in place
- Replace placeholder content with your page content
- Click Save or Publish
Creating a custom layout
- Go to Content → Layouts
- Click New Layout
- Give the layout a descriptive name
- Build the structure using sections, blocks, and placeholder content (for example: “[Insert headline here]”)
- Click Save
Managing layouts
- Edit, duplicate, or delete layouts from Content → Layouts
- Layouts can include reusable snippets for shared sections like headers, footers, or call-to-action blocks
Tips
- Create layouts for common page types such as landing pages, product pages, and documentation pages
- Include placeholder areas for headlines, content sections, and CTAs
- Restrict layout editing permissions to admins or senior editors to maintain design consistency
