How do I use layouts for new pages?

Layouts allow you to define a reusable page structure for commonly used page types. This helps maintain consistency across funnels and makes creating new pages faster.

Using an existing layout

  1. Click New Page
  2. In the Layout dropdown, select a layout (for example: Landing Page, Checkout Page, Documentation Page)
  3. The editor will load with the layout structure already in place
  4. Replace placeholder content with your page content
  5. Click Save or Publish

Creating a custom layout

  1. Go to Content → Layouts
  2. Click New Layout
  3. Give the layout a descriptive name
  4. Build the structure using sections, blocks, and placeholder content (for example: “[Insert headline here]”)
  5. Click Save

Managing layouts

  1. Edit, duplicate, or delete layouts from Content → Layouts
  2. Layouts can include reusable snippets for shared sections like headers, footers, or call-to-action blocks

Tips

  • Create layouts for common page types such as landing pages, product pages, and documentation pages
  • Include placeholder areas for headlines, content sections, and CTAs
  • Restrict layout editing permissions to admins or senior editors to maintain design consistency
