How do I remove or deactivate a user account?
User access in CBSplit is controlled through Admin accounts. To remove a user's access, you must delete their admin account.
Removing an admin account
- Log in to the dashboard as an administrator
- Click Admins in the top navigation bar
- Select the user you want to remove from the list
- Click the Delete button (trash icon) in the top toolbar
- Confirm the deletion
Once deleted, the user will no longer be able to log in to the system.
Notes
- Deleting an admin account immediately revokes dashboard access
- Existing content created by that admin remains unchanged
- If access needs to be restored later, a new admin account must be created
Best practices
- Remove admin accounts for team members who no longer require access
- Periodically review the Admins list to ensure only authorized users have access
