The Frontend Toolbar is a new feature introduced in CBSplit CMS v5.8.9 (released June 12, 2025). When enabled, it displays a toolbar at the top of your live pages whenever you are logged in as an admin. This toolbar provides quick links to edit the page you are currently viewing, making content management faster and more efficient.

The feature is available starting from CMS release 5.8.9 and is enabled using the built-in system snippet.

1. Log in to your admin panel.
2. Navigate to the Snippets section.
3. Locate the system snippet: __system_front_top_bar_v1
4. Open the snippet and go to the Insertions tab.
5. Choose how you want to insert the toolbar: * Selected Pages – Example: Homepage only. * Any Page – Display toolbar across all CMS pages
6. Save your changes.
7. Preview the live page while logged in as admin. You will see the toolbar floating at the top of the page.
