====== How do I reset my password if I forget it? ======

===== Self-service password reset =====

  - Go to your cbsplit login page (https://cbsplit.com/apps)
  - Click **Forgot your password?**
  - Enter your registered email address
  - Click **Send Reset Link**
  - Check your inbox for the reset email (check spam if not received within 2 minutes)
  - Click the link in the email — it expires after **60 minutes**
  - Enter and confirm your new password
  - Click **Reset Password**
  - Log in with your new credentials

===== If you do not receive the email =====

  * Check your spam or junk folder
  * Ensure you are using the correct email address
  * Ask your administrator to check that the mail server is configured correctly

===== Admin reset (for administrators) =====

If a user cannot reset their own password, an admin can do it manually:

  - Go to **Users → All Users**
  - Click on the user's name
  - Click **Reset Password** and send them a new link

After resetting, advise the user to save their password in a password manager.
