====== How do I remove or deactivate a user account? ======

User access in CBSplit is controlled through **Admin accounts**.  
To remove a user's access, you must delete their admin account.

===== Removing an admin account =====

  - Log in to the dashboard as an administrator
  - Click **Admins** in the top navigation bar
  - Select the user you want to remove from the list
  - Click the **Delete** button (trash icon) in the top toolbar
  - Confirm the deletion

Once deleted, the user will no longer be able to log in to the system.

===== Notes =====

  * Deleting an admin account immediately revokes dashboard access
  * Existing content created by that admin remains unchanged
  * If access needs to be restored later, a new admin account must be created

===== Best practices =====

  * Remove admin accounts for team members who no longer require access
  * Periodically review the **Admins** list to ensure only authorized users have access
